Privacy policy
Last updated 13 July 2026
This explains what personal data I collect through this site, why I collect it, who helps process it, and the rights you have. I keep it plain on purpose.
Who is responsible for your data
Nord Luce is the solo consulting practice of Camrick Schoen-Clark, based in Italy and working with clients in Europe and the United States. I am the data controller for this site. You can reach me at camrick@nordluce.com.
What I collect and why
When you use the contact form
I collect your first name, last name, email address, and the message you write. I use this only to read and reply to your enquiry.
When you request the audit checklist
I collect your first name and email address so I can send the checklist and, occasionally, a note when I publish something I think is worth your time. You can opt out of those notes at any time.
When you book a call
The booking link takes you to Cal.com, hosted in the EU. Any details you enter there are handled under Cal.com's own privacy terms, not this site's.
Analytics
If you agree through the cookie banner, I use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages get read and where visitors arrive from. If you do not agree, no analytics run and no analytics cookies are set. IP addresses are anonymised.
The legal basis I rely on
- Replying to your enquiry and sending a requested resource: to take steps at your request before any engagement, and my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me.
- Occasional updates by email and analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else processes your data
- Web3Forms delivers the form submissions to my inbox. It is based in the United States.
- Google provides Google Analytics, and only if you consent. Data may be processed in the United States.
- Cal.com handles bookings, only if you choose to book, on its EU-hosted service.
- Cloudflare hosts and serves the site.
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and resource-request details for as long as I need them to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' retention settings. If you ask me to delete your data sooner, I will.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- see the personal data I hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it,
- restrict or object to how I use it,
- receive a copy in a portable format,
- withdraw consent you gave, at any time.
Email me at camrick@nordluce.com and I will act on it. If you believe I have mishandled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Cookies
The site sets no non-essential cookies unless you agree. Details are in thecookie policy.
Changes
If I change how I handle data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
