Thirty years of building things that work
I'm Cam Schoen-Clark, the consultant behind Nord Luce. I started building websites and running networks in 1996, spent four years at Apple learning how great customer experience actually works, and have spent the last 15 years turning marketing budgets into pipeline.

Technical roots, marketing results
My career started on the technical side: IT, networks, and web development for nonprofits and businesses, going back to 1996. That foundation still shapes how I work. I don't hand-wave at the technical layer of marketing, I read it.
Four years at Apple taught me retail-grade standards for customer experience, first leading a sales team of more than 30 specialists, then building the store's business accounts from 300 to over 700.
Since 2009 I've led digital marketing at every level: co-founding a PR and digital agency serving 50+ clients, directing digital marketing for the Children's Cancer Association, and rebuilding paid and organic programs at Zapproved and LandCentral.
Most recently I spent five years as Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Jama Software, a B2B SaaS company, where I managed $2M in annual ad spend, grew qualified opportunity generation more than 10x in four years, took the average SERP rank from 67 to 15, and helped build a content cluster strategy that drove 70% of the site's organic traffic.
Today I live in Italy and run Nord Luce as a deliberately small practice. A few clients at a time, senior work only, and no agency overhead between you and the person doing the thinking.
A compass and a tribute
Nord Luce is Italian for northern light, pronounced Nord LOO-cheh. It draws inspiration from the North Star, a constant point of guidance for sailors and explorers throughout history. It represents clarity, direction, and the steady presence needed to navigate uncertain waters. As a consultant, my role is much the same: helping companies chart a clear course toward growth.
The name also reflects my own passions. A love for the sea, a deep respect for navigation and discovery, and a connection to Italy through family. Nord Luce is both a compass and a tribute, to where I've been, who I am, and the clients I guide forward.
